I just joined up to facebook and as soon as I joined I had friends. How could libraries use it? Prmoting events, learning programs, new books, bookclubs. You could have an Facebook Book Club. There probably are many applications if you are willing to commit the time and if you have determined what segment of your market uses this program.
Libraries could use it to suggest new innovations and see if other libraries are doing the same or what comments they have on the idea.
It is fun but time-consuming/wasting. I will have to see if any of my real friends are on it.
