Wiki's - some are easier to use than others

Hello,

I went onto the Princeton public library wiki. I think they are a great idea. More public libraries should create and advertise the use of them. What a great way to market their stock and it is free. I think to get more people using them staff would have to be the first to add content and then everyone will come. It is great to read reviews, so much better than tag clouding. I have used some wikis, such as wikipeida, and it is much harder to use than wetpaint. It is not very user friendly at all. If libraries are going to use wikis as a form of networking with their customers it will have to be something that is easy to use.
I went onto Wikipedia and looked at my suburd and would have contributed to the pitiful amount there but I find it hard to use, not user-friendly at all, so I won't bother.
